God's Israel is a "Lost" Nation

X Close this

After the reign of King Solomon, the twelve tribes were divided into two Kingdoms, ten tribes still called Israel and two tribes called the Kingdom of Judah (later, the Jews). About 250 years later, the ten tribes were dispersed under Shalmaneser, "among the nations" (see Deuteronomy 30:1) "and were dispersed through the countries" (see Ezekiel 36:19,24), "And the remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles in the midst of many people" (see Micah 5:8).

These passages indicate to us that God's Israel have lost their natural identity, and are scattered throughout many nations. Whilst some historical evidence indicates that the Anglo-Saxon people may have descended from Israel, these passages indicate that there will be no cognisant national Israel until they are regathered.
